When Toni Braxton denied she was married to that tat-face Birdman in 2023 and then declared her singledom, there was a massive sigh of relief. Birdman, being a horrible choice for a partner is why no one could ever understand what she even saw in him. And they were a thing for over ten years! He gave her a $1 million engagement ring, so perhaps (given her past bankruptcies) this was purely financial because it sure as hell isn't for his looks (kind of like Mariah and that billionaire once upon a time ago).
Toni and Birdman secretly tied the knot 8 months ago, according to TMZ, in a secret ceremony on August 8th, 2024. But two weeks later, Toni filed for divorce, with her attorney calling the marriage “irretrievably broken.” Documents state that she listed their date of separation as August 10th.
Seems they decided to work at their marriage and reportedly dismissed the divorce petition in January 2025, which Birdman signed. As of today, they are still together, legally as man and wife. Congratulations I guess.
The women in that family have horrific taste in men but what I like about Toni is that she keeps her relationship dramas well and truly under-wraps. If this was her ratchet ass sister Tamar, we would never have heard the end of it!
