The veteran singer served up a buzz-worthy performance on American Idol this week, dazzling everyone with an iconic medley of her greatest hits. In a shimmering floor-length gold gown, she belted out a rendition of "The Way That I Love You" and "Foolish," which brought the judges to their feet! Her powerful performance not only highlighted her vocal growth, but served as an inspiration to the contestants who she was mentoring.
After the performance, she announced that she has a new single coming out, titled "Called You Up," which will be accompanied by a music video, shot in Bermuda.
