It is sad when children can't be raised in a peaceful, two-parent home. Of course every child deserves security, and a good upbringing. But circumstances doesn't always allow that, and Halle Bailey, is choosing to remove herself, and her child from all the toxicity.
Following her restraining order against her ex, DDG, court documents obtained by PEOPLE, reveal, Halle has asked a judge to grant her full physical and legal custody over their toddler son, Halo. She’s asking that DDG is not permitted visitation with his son, unless it’s under the supervision of a professional. She also asks that he is not permitted to take Halo outside of Los Angeles.
The child abduction preventative measure, is reportedly the result, of Halle making claims that DDG has a history of abusing her, hiding Halo from her, being an uncooperative parent, and threatening to take Halo away from her all together. Halle has also petitioned the judge to order DDG not to travel with Halo, without her written permission, and to refrain from applying for passports or other important documents for him. According to the docs, Halle said she’s “done everything possible to avoid going to court.” A court hearing, has been scheduled for June 4th.
There is a lot of viral footage out there, that clearly shows how much DDG loves his son, and such restrictions would burn deep within him. But the moment you put your hand on the mother of your children, you indirectly relinquish all rights to having an unrestricted relationship with them. Hopefully, they can get past this, for their son's sake.
