A lot of people are wondering if Leona Lewis has enough hits for a Vegas residency, because, at this point, it seems quite ambitious to... announce one?
The Grammy-nominated star, will headline a series of shows in Las Vegas, titled "A Starry Night" at Voltaire from November 1st to January 3rd, 2026. The announcement comes 19 years after winning the UK's X Factor. It also marks her first-ever live performances in the United States.
It's been 10 years since Leona Lewis released her last studio album, "I Am," and she's no longer popular in the US. She only had three memorable songs, and these were "Bleeding Love", "Better in Time", and "Run," although her seasonal favourite "One More Sleep" has gathered some momentum.
Leona doesn’t actively release music due to commercial failures of previous albums. She appears happy to perform her seasonal concerts and releasing the occasional odd soundtrack song.
However, investing full time into a full fledged music comeback isn't exactly where her head is at right now. Yet, she seems confident that she will be able to manage so many shows back to back.
Her autoimmune condition literally affects her vocal cords really badly, but hopefully, she has a plan put in place to facilitate this.
As for the shows, it will be interesting to see what she does to bring excitement and energy to the Vegas experience!
