Mariah is the queen of reinventing her sound, without turning her back, on all things vintage and hip-hop soul. Witty lyricism and a sassy attitude, sets the tone for this fun summer bop, which sees Mariah, shading the hell out of all of her exes! Say yes, to spewing vitriol, and shade, to certain types of men!
The flow is fun, the vocals are significantly lowkey, and, as expected, her pen game is on 100! The song could have done with an additional verse or two, but the production overall, is great!
