He could have quietly reached out to Beyoncé and her team, over compensation rights. These rights would have been for usage, of his Las Vegas Sphere imagery, during her "Cowboy Carter" tour. But instead, he chooses to publicize his cease-and-desist letter, over lack of permission and violation. The thing is, she wanted to do a residency there, and was open to negotiation. Sadly, neither party could see eye to eye over the high production value a Beyoncé show would require.
It is Beyoncé for f's sake. High production is her middle name. It is what people pay for. Dolan could have raked in some serious, life-changing money having one of the world's biggest pop stars perform at his venue. A potential, lucrative arrangement, just got flushed right down the toilet!
The Vegas Sphere has issued a cease and desist to #Beyoncé for using unauthorized visuals of the venue in her Cowboy Carter tour. The video shows a giant Beyoncé interacting with the Sphere, which the company says falsely implies a partnership or residency.
