Brown has been denied bail after being arrested in Manchester, and officially charged on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, in what prosecutors called an "unprovoked attack" at a London nightclub in 2023. He will remain in custody, ahead of his next appearance at London's Southwark Crown Court on June 13th, while his tour was due to kick off in the Netherlands on June 8th.
What exactly does this mean for his UK stadium tour? The truth is, it is very unlikely to happen now, as his shows in the Netherlands (June 8th), and Germany (June 11th) and (June 13th) logically can’t take place any more. Now that he is set to stay behind bars for a month, he would not have had any time to rehearse for his shows.
The UK part of the tour, will most likely get cancelled completely. Even if he gets released in time, do you think the home office would let him continue? He has a criminal record in the UK now, and has most likely now lost his rights to work in the UK, meaning, his UK career is toast. Fans are still hoping that the US leg of his "Breezy Bowl" tour, can still be saved. His tour manager and record company, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
