According to a press release: “The project is a rich, genre-blending body of work that pays tribute to every era of Mariah that fans know and love, while introducing new collaborators and modern influences that allow the music to seamlessly span generations.”
The last project "Caution," was released 7 years ago, before the catastrophic effects of the pandemic. Life appeared somewhat normal back then, and Mariah wasnt so heavily reliant on Christmas becoming her number one money maker.
The 11-track project, her first to be released on Gamma Records, will feature latest single "Type Dangerous," while the follow-up single “Sugar Sweet” will be dropping very soon.
With the new era fully underway, it is such a great day to be a Mariah Carey fan.
