Bieber recently released his new album "Swag," and on that album, there is a skit with Druski telling him he has a “black soul” despite his white skin. Of course Bieber is heard responding the words, "thank you thank you" with much gratitude and conviction. It's like he's saying, "yeah, yeah, tell me something I don't know."
Justin, you are NOT a soul singer and you do not sing with soul. Your voice is very nasally, whiny and tinny just like your predecessor Justin Timberlake, who also gets marketed for being "a white boy with soul."
Just because you have R&B songs does not mean you qualify. It's appreciated that this album was your therapy for marriage issues and mental health. But lets be clear here. You are NOT invited to the cookout. You will be ordered to stand outside the cookout if you have the audacity to show up. But if we're feeling a little generous, we might pass you some snacks instead!
