Breathing in city life after being bed bound in hospital, fighting cancer, and kicking it out of her body, felt like a new lease of life for Jessie J.
She reveals, “I have no cancer spread,” and that she is crying “happy tears,” following her recent breast cancer surgery. Emotions running high, as she closes her eyes, arms outstretched to embrace an awaiting outside world.
Appreciation shown, for the little things in life we often take for granted. Consciousness of a million odours floating across the city air; the earthy scent of hot pavements beaten down by an overpowering sun, the resinous essence, emanating from the ripening of trees, and the sweet aromas of vanilla, drifting from passing ice-cream trucks. This is beauty. This is life. A life, which comes with so many uncertainties.
All of her senses heightened, feelings of purified light bouncing off her soul, due to an overwhelming darkness, that had just been lifted.
