Janet Jackson proves she is still relevant, as she is honored and performs at AMAs

Janet Jackson is the goat, and she deserves every bit of her flowers. Last night, the pop icon performed, and was honored with the Icon Award at the 2025 American Music Awards in Las Vegas. 

This was her first TV performance in seven years, and fans were treated to a medley of “Someone to Call My Lover” and “All for You.” A great nod to fellow pop legend Mariah Carey, was also featured, when the first song interpolated, "Shake It Off!" Some people may have wanted Janet to perform more of her hits, but she picked the songs that have been trending on Tik Tok! Despite being 1 year shy of 60, Janet is being reintroduced, and appreciated, by the younger generation!
