The ceremony, hosted by Jennifer Lopez, will be held live on May 26th. Interestingly, this also marks Janet's return to CBS for the first time in 21 years. She hasn't appeared on the network since the 2004 Super Bowl debacle.
Les Moonves, the former President of CBS, actively tried to ruin her career, and needs to issue her a public apology. Of course he would rather have his tongue, wrapped firmly around Justin Timberlake's nuts, before that apology ever comes.
That is okay though, as Janet is still getting her flowers, despite his abysmal, sabotaging efforts. Meanwhile, Moonves has been tossed into the "Me Too" movement pool for being a predatory asshole. What a legacy!
As for Janet's performance, this will be her first televised performance in 7 years. But don't count on new music during the show. The performance will most likely serve as a small set preview, from her Vegas residency.
