HALLE BERRY SHUTS DOWN RETURNING AS STORM IN "AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY."

Halle Berry has had the worst luck in the world when it comes to superhero films. I'm not remotedly surprised she wants no part in reprising her role as Marvel's popular ‘X-Men’ character Storm. 

I always felt another actress would have been better suited to the role and it was painfully obvious that producers mostly wanted Halle so that they could profit from her much publicised Oscar win. At the time, she was the IT "black actress" in Hollywood, and they were going to secure Halle at any cost. 

Halle probably had her regrets once she read the script to find she had really sh*tty lines and that it was barely a supportive role (if you could even call it that.) She practically allowed herself to get conned. 

So when she was asked about reprising the role during her appearance at CinemaCon 2025 this week, Halle – who was standing next to her "Crime 101" co-star Chris Hemsworth, had a very strong reaction, and it was simply a stone cold, earthy "no!"
