Amerie redeems herself, performing her classic hit "1 Thing," at the B.E.T Awards

Amerie performed her classic ‘1 Thing’ at the B.E.T Awards this week, bringing all the nostalgic feels! All of that Tiny Desk slander online, must not have been easy for her to see. 

No artist wants to read online, that they sound like horses shitting bricks. Though never a vocalist, her pitchy and shouty technique into a mic, has always been her thing since her debut. After the carnage and criticism of her Tiny Desk performance recently, Amerie decided not to play any games with the redemption, amid her divorce announcement. It still wasn't perfect, but she brought the energy. And by energy, we mean the hair and hip swinging, bringing everything into place!
