Mariah Carey says she would like to work with Rihanna in a recent UK promo interview for her upcoming new album "Here For It All."
If this was 20 years ago, folks would be saying Mariah is evil for wanting to work with Rihanna... due to being fully aware that her voice would swallow the Barbadian's limited range.
Of course we know Mariah's voice has aged over the years... and... she's not hitting notes like she use to. However... she also dumbs down her vocals quite a lot to adapt to new musical trends and... to not overpower her younger collaborators.
If Rihanna wasn't retired and pregnant, Shenseea, who appears on Mariah's latest single "Sugar and Sweet", may have been an afterthought.
A Mariah and Rihanna collaboration would literally heal the planet. It would... break the charts, as well as serve vocals AND vibes the world just isnt ready for!
