Britney Spears has reportedly sold the artist rights to her extensive music catalog to music publisher Primary Wave. It is not clear how much she sold her rights for, but a source reveals it's somewhere in the $200 million dollar range.
Sony Music still owns the master recordings of her entire catalogue. People believe Britney did this because she's going broke after it was reported the conservatorship ate through her entire networth leaving her with just $60 million dollars.
She hasn’t released anything new or toured in a long time, so the money just hasn't been flowing and we know this girl loves living it large with the frequent vacations. Hopefully, with the right people in her corner, this money will last her for the rest of her life.
